Sarah & Andrew's Pre-Wedding shoot at New Farnley
Sarah & Andrew booked me for their wedding last year via a recommendation from Sarah's sister who was a bridesmaid at a wedding I did a couple of years ago. We only met up for the first time today, although we had been communicating via FB. After discussing their wedding over a cup of tea, we drove a short distance to the church in New Farnley where Sarah's mum and dad got married. We did some great shots by the church and in the park next to the church. Andrew who was a little nervous, but soon got into the swing of things with some very manly poses. Sarah & Andrew are really excited about their wedding next week and I know we will have some great fun and some fantastic shots.

Mandy & Tim - Monk Fryston Hall
Last week I was at the lovely Monk Fryston Hall and Knottingly to shoot Mandy & Tim's wedding. After a very emotional wedding at St Michaels Church, we moved on to the beautiful Hall. Luckily the rain stayed away, so we got some great shots in the grounds. Everybody seemed to be having a great time and it was a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Later after the speeches, we took the video light out to get more shots after dark. Mandy & Tim had a lovely day and we know that the guests enjoyed themselves as well.

Anna, Richard & George - Pre-Wedding at Holdsworth House
Second pre-wedding of the week, takes me back to Halifax, to the lovely Holdsworth House. I really love this venue as it is a beautiful location for a wedding at any time of the year. Anna & Richard are tying the knot at the end of this month in what will be a very relaxed informal wedding. Anna asked if their little boy George could come along, which was lovely, as he is a cute little boy and is very good, it made it a family affair. We took photographs in the grounds, in the knot garden and in the new Gazebo which looks beautiful. The images are great and it looks like every one enjoyed themselves, especially George when he was being lifted by his mum and dad. I am certainly looking forward to catching up with them on their big day very soon.

Emma & Steven's Pre-Wedding in Norland
This afternoon I had pleasure in photographing Emma & Steve's pre-wedding shoot in a lovely little memorial park in Norland, which is a little village situated on the moors in Halifax. Emma & Steve will be getting married in the little church in the Village. We had some great shots, firstly in the shelter by the bowling green, which had some graffiti in on the walls inside the same blue as Emma's dress, so this looked really cool. We even had a laugh with the village stocks when they sat in them. They seemed to enjoy the shoot and were very relaxed. Steven does not like having his photograph taken, seemed to love it and said it was very fun and was put at ease with our banter. We are now looking forward to the big day with more fun images.

Baby Bump
One of my Brides from a year ago or so, is soon to be come a mum for the first time. Very exciting news indeed for both mum & dad who are already trying to decide which football team he/she is going to support. So I paid a visit to do a few baby bump shots( as I always say a photographer is not just for the wedding she is for life) and hopefully soon I will be able to photograph the new addition to the family.

Alison & Kris - Otley Parish Church & Hollins Hall Baildon
Well we had snow on Wednesday after a couple of weeks of mild warm weather. However everything seemed back to normal by the time Saturday arrived, however a lot cooler (there ends the weather forecast). Bridal preparation took place at Alison's mum not far from Otley, so all the bridesmaids were there in what was a very relaxed atmosphere, with some gorgeous shots of shoes, flowers etc., However, there was the little whirlwind named "Meghan" who stole the show. At the church she was bold enough to wander around and eventually ended up in the toy area, but in the mean time I got a couple of great shots of her (cute as cute can be). After the lovely and emotional service we made our way to Hollins Hall which is a great favourite. We had some great shots outside with all the family and then some more romantic later on with Alison & Kris as the light faded. Both Alison & Kris who are childhood sweethearts looked lovely and were a pleasure to photograph/ Kris who is quite shy was an absolute star.
