Baby Bump

One of my Brides and Grooms from a few years ago is expecting their first baby and boy they are so excited about this.  So it was nice to catch up with them again last week, when I had the opportunity to photograph the baby bump.  Using the nursery plain wall as a back drop and just the natural light from the window we managed to get some stunning shots, with the aid of the Boudoir sheet, Lipstick and Alphabet bricks, then roping the father to be in at the end.  Wishing them all the best for the future, when baby arrives at the end of the month.

Andrea & Stuart - Chevin Country Park Hotel & Spa

Back again to one of my favourite venues the lovely Chevin Country Park Hotel this time with Andrea & Stuart.  I found Andrea getting ready in one of the lovely rooms overlooking the lake, with a family of ducks trying there best to obtain access to the room.  Andrea's mum was going to be the Matron of Honour and with the other bridesmaids all looked lovely in their dresses and killer heels.  I managed to catch up with Stuart and his men as they vacated their lodge and we headed to the front of the hotel (out of sight of Andrea) to do some shots with the guys, which included the new "madness pose". Then back to the room in time to get a few Boudoir shots (for Stuarts eyes only) and then the beautiful wedding dress making Andrea's look stunning and complete.  It was a Civil ceremony which left Stuart with "something in his eye", which was intimate and beautiful.  Unfortunately, the weather decided to spoil itself and the heavens opened up, so most of the shots were done inside, but Chevin is beautiful and can cater for such a situation.  We did a few intimate shots on the lounge with the lovely spiral staircase (one of my favourite locations).  Speeches were great and again emotional, with each guest receiving a memento of the Eiffel Tower which is very special to Andrea & Stuart.  While the room was being transformed for the evening reception we moved on to the honeymoon suite was used for some more location shots, then leaving the happy couple to enjoy the moment.  The first dance was fantastic and the DJ had some fantastic lighting effects which really suited the mood.  When I left party was in full swing, with promise of some Karaoke and Elvis impressions.

Lyndsey and Mark - Huntsman Inn

The other evening we caught up with Lyndsey & Mark at the Huntsman Inn at Holmfirth (Last of the Summer Wine Country), which is nestled in lovely Yorkshire Countryside.  Lyndsey & Mark are actually getting married in December later on this year, but they were keen to meet up and have a pre-wedding shoot, while the weather was still clement.  So on this lovely evening we did some fun shots and really got into the swing of things, using all the areas in the lovely gardens at the pretty venue.  Lyndsey and Mark are really excited about their big day and if you see her FB page she generally tells you how many days to her wedding - excited or what?

Joanne & Dave - Cedar Court Hotel

Got to catch up with the blogs as this is the pre-wedding shoot for Joanne & Dave.  They got married last weekend - so more on that to follow.
Anyway we met up one evening for the pre-wedding shoot at the Cedar Court Hotel at Ainley Top.  Considering what the weather had been like earlier in the week, we were quite lucky.  A very excited Joanne  and a nervous Dave  discussed there special day, before we took some shots at the front of the hotel.  Dave soon relaxed and seemed to enjoy himself.  Where as Joanne said "she could have carried on all night" as she really enjoyed the shoot.  I will say that when we got to the day of the wedding, Dave was totally chilled out in front of the camera and we got some great shots on that day as well. More to follow...............
