Back again to one of my favourite venues the lovely Chevin Country Park Hotel this time with Andrea & Stuart. I found Andrea getting ready in one of the lovely rooms overlooking the lake, with a family of ducks trying there best to obtain access to the room. Andrea's mum was going to be the Matron of Honour and with the other bridesmaids all looked lovely in their dresses and killer heels. I managed to catch up with Stuart and his men as they vacated their lodge and we headed to the front of the hotel (out of sight of Andrea) to do some shots with the guys, which included the new "madness pose". Then back to the room in time to get a few Boudoir shots (for Stuarts eyes only) and then the beautiful wedding dress making Andrea's look stunning and complete. It was a Civil ceremony which left Stuart with "something in his eye", which was intimate and beautiful. Unfortunately, the weather decided to spoil itself and the heavens opened up, so most of the shots were done inside, but Chevin is beautiful and can cater for such a situation. We did a few intimate shots on the lounge with the lovely spiral staircase (one of my favourite locations). Speeches were great and again emotional, with each guest receiving a memento of the Eiffel Tower which is very special to Andrea & Stuart. While the room was being transformed for the evening reception we moved on to the honeymoon suite was used for some more location shots, then leaving the happy couple to enjoy the moment. The first dance was fantastic and the DJ had some fantastic lighting effects which really suited the mood. When I left party was in full swing, with promise of some Karaoke and Elvis impressions.
Thank you Karen, they look fantastic - can't wait to see the rest of the photos - it really was a fabulous day. Just returned from Mauritius, which was also fantastic. Looking forward to seeing you soon from Andrea and Stuart xx
