Katie & Robin are seriously into their music and their cats as well. Katie was getting changed at the Roomzzzz in Leeds, before getting married at Pudsy Parish Church. It was rather a warm day (England having a heatwave for a change) but it was a cool bride and chilled out as well. Getting some great shots of the shoes and dress, as well as Katie and her bridesmaids. Katie also pinned to her underskirt a broach made up of the name tags of dear departed cats, so as to remember them on her special day. Afterwards it was off to the Church, however as there was another wedding just finishing (confusing with both weddings the men were wearing similar suits). I took the guys (the right ones) off to the park next door and grabbed some great shots in the band stand. Katie & Robin friends are singers and they were doing coral pieces for the wedding, which was lovely and suited the church as it is quite a big place. It was a very emotional service and I managed to keep it together this time (I am terrible blubber when it comes to singing at weddings). After shots at the church we were off to one of my fav venue's Bagden Hall - we got some great shots in the grounds and at the folly, with the weeping willow now in full leaf. The room was decorated with pots of flowers which the couple had grown especially for their wedding and also festooned with Lavender, music was also the theme with little petals made from sheet music paper. The cakes were fab also, with caricatures not only of themselves but also their two cats.

Kim & Lee - Fun and Laughter with the Kissing Vicar
Blog has been a bit forgotten, so I thought it was time for some updates. A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing the lovely Kim & Lee's wedding in Helm and at the Pennine Manor. Kim was getting ready at the Manor so I caught up with her there and she looked stunning, which I knew she would do. I took photographs of the shoes and accessories with the help of Kim's little girl who nearly perched on my shoulder while I set up boxes as props). Later I caught up with the boys at the lovely church. I had gone to the rehearsal, so I had met the vicar who always gives people a kiss when she says good-bye, so I knew we were going to have fun. I got the boys who were in great form, so we did shots in the long grass and used the lych gate, walls as great props. One of my favourite shots is the rings which circled Kim & Lee's name on the register. Honley Ladies were to be singing and they were wonderful, caught myself in tears once again - with "You Raise me up". After the service we went back into the church to have some pictures with the ladies and also use the inside for some great shots as well, this gave the best man opportunity to get people ready outside with the confetti for when the happy couple came out. Afterwards it was back to the venue for some great shots with the car and of course on the Heli-pad with the great backdrop overlooking the countryside. Although the weather was nice it was rather chilly up there, but we got some great shots, especially I love the guys leaping. After the wedding breakfast we went to the honeymoon suite, which had some really great light and with the aide of the video light held by Kim's mum we got some superb images. I know that Kim & Lee, really love the images and I done their album with their fantastic choice of images.
