Katie & Luke - Valentine Wedding

On Valentines day Luke & Katie were getting married.  It was at Spring Hall in Halifax and between themselves there was only 6 of them, but they were having a party to end all parties in the evening.  The weather was horrendous it just bucketed down continually, so when Katie arrived we dashed inside where Luke was waiting for her.  Katie looked stunning in her simple dress which had a lovely back detail. After the service we took some shots at Spring Hall then the small wedding party went for a celebratory meal.  So I got chance to go home and put my feet up for a while and then it was off to the evening party at The Guide Post near Bradford.  With cakes, sweetie cart and the usual table decorations associated with a good wedding - family and friends started arriving - wanting to congratulate Katie and Luke to have a great party.  We also managed some honeymoon shots, speeches and a first dance as well.  Then a week later in coincidence I was photographing a christening at our local church and the other christening was Luke's niece who was also at the party, so being a small world and I got chance to catch up with Katie & Luke and members of their very small wedding party.

Karen & Andy Grundy - The Venue

Last year I had the pleasure in photographing Andy & Karen's wedding at the Venue, which is a not so little Venue tucked in the Yorkshire countryside.  After photographing Karen getting ready at her lovely home and her custom vintage wedding dress, I caught up with Andy at the Venue which is actually based in an old mill, with a late and water wheel, so there was plenty of spots for great photographs. When the wedding was ready, we nearly thought that Karen was going to be coming in to "The Muppet Show" which got every body in stitches, though the service was rather emotional after that. Speeches with slide shows, football shirts and embarrassing stories.  Also the cake was great fun as well as it depicted all the wedding party, including the parents.  It was a great day and was finished off with the first dance being "The Time Warp" with the grooms man, bridesmaid which was fantastic.

Baby Scarlett

I love my Newborn's especially if they are a cute as Scarlett.  She is photographed here only a couple of weeks old.  She seem to love my sheepskin rug and was quite happy in the props as well. I can not believe that I have bought baby things at my age.  Little headbands, hats, throws etc.,   Anyway she was very well behaved except for when we photographed her with her dad.  I could see Matt was quite muscular and a hint of tattoos, so I asked him if he would take his shirt off and he did.  I wanted to show the soft side of a  Matt with the smallness and gentleness of Scarlett.  Loved the photograph, then she just wee-d over him which was so funny.  If you want to have a Newborn shoot see the post below for details.

Meet baby Elaina belle Louisa

One of my brides from about 7 years ago, surprised me with the announcement that she and her lovely husband had just had a baby girl.  So it was lovely to catch up with them again and meet their little bundle.  She is pictured here at only about 2 weeks old and I am sure you will agree that she is really quite adorable.

Sharing the Fun and Laughter at Natalie & Stuart's Wedding

This was my second visit to Fixby Golf Club last year for the Wedding of Natalie and Stuart.  It was a lovely day with perfect weather, after a lovely church wedding we went to the "Golf Club", with a fantastic bunch of people.  Oh they were so fun, cheeky and very naughty indeed, I am talking about the boys especially - the stag party had all had a tattoo done in Prague, mostly on the back of their legs, so we had to have a photograph that of course.  One of the favourite moments was the piggy back race with the grooms-men and bridesmaids - it was awesome with great shots. Then there was the romantic moments as it was getting dark with great shots outside as well.  The other day Natalie came to pick up her fabulous album with her which she still has not got over how fantastic the album is.  Below are some of the images Natalie & Stuart chose for their album.

A Perfect Wedding to a Tee

Natalie & Stuart have chosen their images for the wonderful album which they received today.  I know Natalie is over the moon with her album and her matching parents.  I was looking through the images, which I will be posting on the blog later, so I thought I would do a little slide show just to show what a wonderful, fun and spectacular day they had.  So now is the time to share with you out there.  Enjoy........................
