Funki Foto Fun at Alison & Kris's Wedding at Hollins Hall
Fun was had by all at Alison & Kris's wedding yesterday when we set up the photobooth. Having bought a few more props recently to add more fun and laughs. I find it really funny when people start delving in the the dressing up box looking for the look that they want (I always say you can be anything you want). Again there were people from across the continent who really got into the spirit of things. I find this is a wicked way to start the evening party and get every one in the mood for a good time.

Laura & Aaron - Holy Trinity & Chevin Country Park Hotel
Spring has arrived (so we are led to believe). Laura got ready at her Mum & Dad's just around the corner from the church where she was getting married to Aaron. So we did some shots outside in the garden which was overflowing with lovely daffodils and spring flowers. After a very emotional service at the church it was off to the lovely Chevin Country Park Hotel for the wedding breakfast. We managed to get some lovely romantic shots of Aaron & Laura, especially with the video lamp which was held by "Tucker", even though the light had almost gone. Laura & Aaron are really easy to work with and made some very romantic shots with no effort at all - aw bless.

Brenda & her Boys
A little while ago Nicky Tyman http://www.facebook.com/pages/Nicky-Tyman-makeup-artist/207795253125 who I have worked with before asked if I would donate a portrait shoot as part of charity prize at a local event. Nicky would do the glamour make-up I then would take the photographs. Brenda was the lucky girl who one the prize, so last week after Nicky had done her make-up I set up my background to take photographs of her and also some of her family as well. Brenda loved the make up and the experience and was exceptionally pleased with the images which I took not only of her but her boys as well.

Laura & Aaron - Chevin Country Park Hotel
Well spring seemed to spend the weekend with us up in Yorkshire. It was a lovely day again and quite mild with it. With the second Pre-Wedding of the weekend I met up with lovely Laura & Aaron to discuss their wedding which takes place later on this month. The Chevin is a lovely location and with it rural setting there is always lovely features to use around the grounds (and yes I would love to stay there myself). We had great fun with the shots, both Laura & Aaron seemed very relaxed and loved having their photographs taken. So really looking forward to meeting up with them again at their wedding rehearsal and of course on the big day.

Alison & Kris - Hollins Hall
The first of 2 pre-wedding shoots took place at the lovely Hollins hall nr Esholt. I had not met Kris before, but had met the lovely Alison last year when I went to visit her to discuss photography for their wedding later this month. Kris was a little shy at first, but after while he soon got into the swing of things and started to relax, of course with the help of Alison. They seemed to have fun, on what was a very sunny spring afternoon, so we are now looking forward to our next meeting which will be their wedding day.

Boudoir Shoot at Hazelwood Castle
Last week I had the pleasure of going on a Boudoir shoot with Chris Chambers Photography at Hazelwood Castle. Vivienne was the lovely model for the day, she absolutely beautiful, very natural and sexy with it. Shots were taken in the bridal suite and also in the lounge of the castle. It was fun day and there was only 3 other photographers on the course so it was very informal and nearly a one to one with Chris. Boudior photography was kept quite simple, using available and video light for effect, with props which were simple, but quite effective, such as rope light, wedding veil and gold fabric. As you can see the with t stunning images take on the day that Boudoir can be fun as well as sexy.

Claire & Michael - Healds Hall - Liversedge
With family travelling from South Africa for Claire & Michael's wedding last Saturday, you knew it was going to be a big celebration. Claire and the Bridesmaids were getting ready at a local hotel, before going onto Healds Hall for an emotional Civil ceremony. Claire's brother drove Claire to the venue in her dad's (Brian) Vintage Car, which he had restored and is his pride and joy. Everybody seemed to have a good time, so by the time it was ready for the first dance everyone was very relaxed and was in party mood. Brian set up his guitar and sang to Claire & Michael as they danced, which was a very special moment. Brian also sang the next song which got everybody on the dance floor. I know from the comments I got from the guests that they were having a great time and wanted to celebrate Claire & Michael's special day.
